Since 1969, Happy Vacations has been helping people plan their tropical
vacations. Our starting point was Hawai’i, and since then we’ve continued to
grow by adding new tropical and exotic destinations. Currently we provide
vacation packages complete with airline travel, accommodations, car or transfer
services, and now extensive tours & activities. Our destinations include
Hawaii, premier islands in the Caribbean, coastal resort areas of Mexico, and
the South Pacific including Tahiti, Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa, Vanuatu, and for
2006 New Zealand.

Following the Aloha and ATA Airlines announcement to cease all passenger service to Hawaii, Happy Vacations took immediate action by protecting all of our valued customers.

Hi Bryan...just a good word for Jenna E. in Caribbean. Even with all of the extra stress of Aloha
and ATA closing down, she has helped me with "unbelievably" difficult clients and put them in the
best package...all the while being so professional and pleasant. I want to make sure that ALL of

BRAVO TO ALL OF YOU AT HAPPY VACATIONS!
It has long been our philosophy at Your Travel Source that any company can sell travel, but the true test of a company is how they handle a problem when it arises. That’s what separates the good companies from the bad companies.
From the start of this Aloha problem, when we called your emergency number for Happy, Abby responded to our message within ten minutes on Sunday night. We had clients involved and Jim, Michelle and Abby all worked hard to get them re-accommodated.
We would like to praise the owners of Happy Vacations for their wise decision to support their clients and their travel agents in this most difficult situation. We know the staff at Happy has put in very long, hard hours over the past couple of days. The statement below*, which shows how you are protecting the clients involved, reinforces to us why we have been loyal to Happy Vacations for over ten years and will continue to encourage our clients to book with your company.
Kudos to all of those involved and please pass our message on to the new owners of Happy Vacations. They are very fortunate to have such dedicated employees working for them and as travel agents we are very fortunate to be aligned with a company who does the right thing and puts the clients and their travel agents ahead of their bottom line.

As of March 31, 2008, Aloha Airlines announced cessation of all passenger service to Hawaii, including trans-Pacific and inter-island flights.
Happy Vacations has taken immediate action by protecting all of our valued customers. We are making immediate arrangements on your client’s behalf; they will not need to contact the airline direct. We do ask for your patience as we work through this process.
For clients in travel now, please contact our dedicated management staff directly at 800-903-7888. This line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If your client’s trip has not yet commenced, we ask you to email us at Alohahelp@happyvacations.com. Please include the reservation number and any additional information you feel we should know in order to re-accommodate your clients. You can also phone us directly at 800-877-4277.
For those passengers without waiver, we are crediting the full value of the ticket with no change fee.
Clients who included our Price Protection option will be accommodated without additional cost.
Happy Vacations is simplifying the refund process. Complete cancellations will be refunded in full less waiver, or applicable cancellation fees.
Our sincerest apologies go out to you and your clients who have been inconvenienced.
This is a difficult time for everyone.

Thanks for the info, Cathy. I want to pass on a note of praise for your agents and company. They assisted me with changing 8 passengers and re-accommodated them. Michelle M and Jamie W couldn't have been more professional and helpful under very stressful circumstances.
I was saddened to see Aloha shut down. What a loss for Hawaii and the travel industry.

Yes everything is fine with my clients. Get a load of this, you might find this amusing. The family had 2 adult children leaving from Nashville to Maui on ATA. The kids decided they are moving back to the West Coast. So I last week I reissued their tickets to leave from OAK to OGG. Now that ATA went under, they may lose all of their money they spent on the airline tickets. The credit-card company may not refund their money.
Fortunately, Happy Vacations added the two kids to their record. And then, their son wants to stay until the 19th of May and leave from Redding. Rachel and Veronica in your res office were gems and helped me through all of this.

Hi Bryan, thank you a million for sending me the update that Happy Vacations has taken immediate action protecting customers in relation to Aloha Airlines. I knew that Happy would step up to the plate, much better than (other wholesaler) would. However, I am not booking (other wholesaler) any longer, since Happy became a member of Ensemble Travel. I have always wanted to book only Happy.
Leah from Happy called today and rebooked my son and family to Honolulu on United out of SFO, inasmuch as they had price protection and waiver, they did not have to pay additional, which is wonderful news!
I am going to send a note to all my clients and tell them what Happy did! Anyway, just wanted to thank you and Happy for being there for all the Agents!
